Storalytic Storalytic

The Platform

Not a dashboard.
A loop that closes.

Storalytic runs on your existing cameras and processes behaviour locally on an EdgAlytic edge device. Three gauges tell you what your store needs today: ATTRACT, SERVE and DEPLOY. They point you to the zone worth acting on first, and once you have made the change there, we measure whether behaviour actually moved and what it was worth.

How It's Built

Your existing cameras. One device on site. No video leaves the store.

📷

Your existing cameras

In most stores the IP or CCTV cameras you already have feed the EdgAlytic device directly, so the camera estate stays as it is. Setup takes hours, not weeks.

EdgAlytic edge device

Computer vision processing happens locally, on-premise, in real time. No video leaves your store. No faces are identified. Privacy by architecture, not by policy.

☁️

Cloud intelligence layer

Structured behavioural data is sent to the cloud, never raw video. Overnight it is cleaned up, compared with previous periods and sorted into patterns, so the picture is ready in the portal each morning. Allen, the assistant built into the platform, runs here too.

Visitor Intelligence

Not all visitors are equal. Storalytic knows the difference.

Every person in your store is automatically classified using behavioural models. No cameras identifying faces, no personal data, no GDPR risk. Just behaviour patterns.

Walk-by

Passes through without pausing. In this zone that means under 4 seconds. Presence only, with no commercial intent detected.

Short Lingerer

Pauses briefly. Here that is 4 to 22 seconds. An interest signal, but not sustained attention.

Clear Lingerer

Deliberate attention beyond that point. The physical click. The unit that drives all commercial calculations.

Those cut-offs are not fixed numbers. Storalytic derives them for each zone from its size and how long it takes to walk through, so a deep showroom aisle and a narrow promo end are judged on their own terms rather than against one store-wide rule.

The Gauges

Grow, protect, save. One store state, updated daily.

Each gauge answers a different commercial question. ATTRACT points you at the next step worth taking. SERVE and DEPLOY report what waiting and staffing are costing you.

ATTRACT

Store Commercial Efficiency

Are your zones converting attention into commercial outcomes?

Measures Clear Lingerer rate against your own best weeks, your best comparable zone, the peer cohort, and best-in-class stores. Scores engagement and conversion per zone, and shows what the next step up is worth.

Primary output: € within reach

SERVE

Protect

Store Service Efficiency

Is checkout friction costing you completed sales?

Monitors wait time in checkout zones against your target. Every minute above target is priced using segment-specific elasticity models, and shown as a range.

Primary output: Queue loss €

DEPLOY

Staffing Efficiency

Is staffing aligned with actual visitor demand?

Compares staffed capacity against the demand actually present on the floor, and identifies the quiet hours you are overstaffed and the busy ones you are not.

Primary output: Staff hours you could move

Opportunity Engine

Every morning, your store tells you where to focus first.

Zones are ranked by potential impact to the next gear. Not by traffic. Not by engagement alone. By the realistic value of the next achievable step, starting from your own best weeks rather than a figure you have no route to yet.

Each ranked zone carries a pattern chip that says what is actually wrong in its funnel: Awareness when people pass but do not stop, Attention when they engage but do not buy, Reach when a strong zone simply is not seen by enough people. The chip points to the lever with the most headroom, so the first action is obvious.

Awareness

Many visitors, low engagement. People see it but do not stop.

Attention

High engagement, low conversion. People look but do not buy.

Reach

Few visitors, high engagement. Draws too little attention.

Strong

Near the ceiling on both metrics. A top performer.

Neutral

Average on both axes.

Traffic

Counts-only zone. Engagement is not measured here.

These are the euros within reach, a modelled estimate of what the next gear is worth. The proved euro, the one we stand behind, comes only after you make a change and the guidance loop measures it.

#3Safety Shoes

Total within reach this period

€ 12,880

A modelled estimate. The proved figure comes after a change is tracked, in the guidance loop.

Strategic Positioning

A second question: what role does each zone play?

The pattern chips say what is going wrong inside a zone's funnel. Strategic Positioning asks something different: how does this zone earn its space in the store? Every product zone is plotted on visitor share against € per visitor, which sorts them into four roles.

Stars

High visitor share and high € per visitor. The zones carrying the store.

High Runners

High visitor share, lower € per visitor. Volume drivers with room to earn more per visit.

Spotlight Candidates

Low visitor share, high € per visitor. Worth getting more people in front of.

Cold Spots

Low on both. Underperforming space.

The two are complementary and deliberately separate. The Opportunity Engine ranks by pattern, because that tells you what to fix. Strategic Positioning tells you what a zone is for, which is a merchandising question rather than a funnel one.

Allen, the companion who carries the loop

Not a chatbot. A companion who knows your store.

Allen is a role, not a technology. It does not wait for you to open a dashboard. Every morning it writes your store's briefing, starting with how you are tracking against your own goals, and it reaches out when something on the floor changes: a zone slipping, a checkout wait creeping up, next week's footfall bending.

It reads your store's behavioural data, names the one move worth making, and comes back afterwards to tell you whether it worked. Ask it a question and it answers in plain language, grounded in your numbers. And it remembers what it learns about your store, so later suggestions take that context into account.

The Guidance Loop

Most tools stop at seeing. Storalytic is the only one that knows whether its own advice worked.

Seeing the floor is the start. The loop only closes when you can answer the question every retail decision eventually runs into: did that actually do anything? Here is how the platform answers it.

01

Log the change

You record what you changed and when: a display moved, a zone re-signed, an hour restaffed. One line, with a date. That date is what makes measurement possible.

02

Measure equal windows

We compare the same number of opening days before and after, on the same weekday mix, and adjust for the trend the store was already on, so a rising or falling market is never mistaken for the effect of your change.

03

Report it honestly

Each result is labelled measured, modelled, or still building. Proved € only where a tracked action has sales entered behind it. Everything else stays an estimate, and says so.

04

Remember what worked

Outcomes are retained per zone and per pattern, so the next recommendation is informed by what your floor has already taught us, including the changes that did nothing.

€ proved

A tracked change, with sales entered, measured across equal trend-adjusted windows. This is the only figure we call realised, and we report it even when it is zero or negative.

€ estimated

Everything forward-looking: € within reach, Queue Loss, redeployable capacity. Modelled from measured behaviour and your own assumptions, always labelled. We measure realised impact; we do not promise a return.
